Bill Salmon (vocals, keyboards, harmonica, guitars, and bass) – Originally from Connecticut, Bill Salmon has been an active Singer/Songwriter/Performer in Albuquerque since moving here in 1985. He has produced three solo albums of original folk-rock songs and two CDs with Swamp de Ville. Musician Magazine also named Bill one of the “Top Unsigned Artists” in 1996. Bill writes music and lyrics in many styles including folk, rock, pop, country, ballads and satire.
Bill performs with his band Swamp de Ville. Swamp de Ville performs an eclectic mix of rock, blues, Americana, and folk-rock including original songs and covers by U-2, Counting Crows, Rolling Stones, Georgia Satellites, Tom Petty, Collective Soul, Jimmy Reed, Radiohead, Steve Earle, John Lee Hooker, and Bob Dylan. The band has performed in many venues in the Albuquerque area including Outpost Performance Space, Golden West Saloon, El Rey Theatre, Barley Room, Molly’s, Burt’s Tiki Lounge, Blue Dragon Coffee House, Ned’s on the Rio Grande, and Misty’s Hideaway and Hallenbrick Brewery. Michael Linden (vocals, bass, guitar, keyboards) – A native New Yorker, Mike began writing songs and playing in bands as a young teenager. A true multi-instrumentalist, he is a “triple-threat” on guitar, bass, and keyboards. Mike is a Singer/Songwriter of rock, blues, jazz and alternative rocks styles.
Mike Fox (vocals, lead guitar) – Mike’s vocals, guitar, and songwriting are blues and roots rock based. He recently moved back to Albuquerque and has performed in jazz and blues bands for many years.
Kelly Taylor (drums) – Kelly recently moved to Albuquerque from Wyoming, and has played in numerous bands of all styles for over 30 years. His refreshing focus on technique and creativity make him a great fit for Swamp de Ville’s musical diversity.
